Helping you shine your brightest.
Welcome to Brighton Up!
I’m glad you are here — whether you are new to therapy or it has been a part of your life. Change is possible and YOU can live a life of thriving versus feeling like you are surviving.
As a therapist, I’ve helped many people with challenging life experiences to understand the impact of those experiences on their sense of self and reactions within their relationships.
Whether its trauma, anxiety, depression, guilt/shame, anger or one of the many life transitions that brings change, therapy is a safe place to understand, process and ultimately heal.
My approach to therapy begins with an intake to get to know you which will allow us to develop a trusting space to work towards your goals.
If faith is something you desire to be part of your therapy journey — whether you’re new to faith, desiring to explore it, or it’s been an intricate part of your life — we can go on that journey together.

What is Trauma Counseling?
Trauma is a term that has become more commonplace. I refer to them as Little t’s or Big T’s. One of effective tools I use to treat the effects of trauma is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy. In addition, I use a combination of treatments which include acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy to help build your strengths and capacity for life.
